Our story began in 2017. After weeks of talking and getting to know each other, Mason asked me on our very first date. We went to see Finding Dory, and what seemed like a simple movie date turned out to be the start of something truly special.

Not long after, Mason invited me to spend the day on the boat with his family. Excited for a fun day on the water, I arrived ready to see him—but to my surprise, Mason wasn't there. His family casually explained that he had something important he needed to finish and that we would be picking him up by boat later.

As we cruised along the Intracoastal, I had no idea what was waiting for me. When we passed beneath the Pompano Beach Inlet Bridge, I looked up and saw Mason standing high above us, holding a sign that read:

"I'm finally o-FISH-ally asking you to prom."

I was completely surprised and couldn't stop smiling. Of course, I said yes!

That unforgettable moment became one of the first chapters in our story. What started with a movie date, a boat ride, and a promposal over the water grew into a relationship built on love, laughter, adventure, and friendship.

Then, on March 12th, our 9-year anniversary, Mason gave me another surprise I'll never forget. After nearly a decade together, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.

And what was my answer?

Yes... obviously!

Now, we're beyond excited to begin our next chapter as husband and wife. We can't wait to celebrate with all of the people we love as we continue writing our love story—one that started with Finding Dory, a boat ride, and a boy on a bridge, and is now leading us to forever. ❤️⚓️🐠💍✨
